Environmental conditions

Although the British weather can often be unpredictable, we would prefer to film when the weather is dry and sunny so that there is plenty of light and we wouldn't have to worry about getting light sources from lamps etc whilst filming. It would be easier if the weather was dry as we would then not have to worry about protecting the camera from rain and getting clothes wet from being on the wet ground. It would also mean that we wouldn't have to go through mud to film some of the scenes in the field.
Even though the weather was sunny, it was still cold as it was the autumn season. Our actor wore a vest top and jeggings which is more of a summer outfit so she was cold during this shoot at times. This could have been difficult as in some shots she could have goosebumps or shivering etc from being cold but in others she would be fine. We luckily didn't have this problem. Even though it was cold outside, it wasn't clearly visible and we used this costume as it was a style that would be used in a music video of this genre.
Wind was something we had to think about. f it was too windy and we repeated filming some shots on a different day, in some shots it could be clearly windy with the actors hair getting blown around whilst in others it wouldn't move. The wind could create a good effect but it would need to be the same level in the shots of the same scene.
